D*Face is a London-based sculptor and stencil artist, who uses London as his own personal gallery. A well-known graffiti artist, he can be found sticking, pasting and drawing on any wall or space he doesn't actually own. In recent years, D*face has graduated to sold out gallery shows around the London area. Through his artwork, the artist encourages people not to just 'see', but to really examine what surrounds them and their lives.
The artist's background includes coursework in illustration and design. While honing his street work skills, D*face worked as a freelance illustrator/designer. Influences included Shepard Fairey's "Obey Giant" art campaign, Jim Philips, hip hop, punk music, and popular animated cartoons.
D*face is an associate of Banksy's. He has shown as Santa's Ghetto, a collaborative exhibition started by Banksy that showcases underground artists and their work.
